The name on our trucks and our sign is changing. We are now Metro Window & Door, formerly Metro Window Co., and the addition is one word for a good reason. We have sold and installed doors for as long as we have sold windows, and plenty of homeowners around Louisville and Oldham County never knew it.
The company itself is the same. Same family, same building on Mattingly Road, same phone number, same crews. Only the name is different.
Why we are now Metro Window & Door
We opened in 1980 as a window company, and for a while that was an accurate description of the business. It stopped being accurate a long time ago. Doors are a large share of what we sell and install now: entry doors, patio doors, French doors, sliding units, and the Masonite line we carry for interior and exterior work.
Still, the old name kept sending the wrong signal. A homeowner in Crestwood with a patio door that no longer slides would call three other companies before calling us, because “window” was the only thing on the sign. Builders in La Grange ordered windows from us and doors from somebody else. After enough of those calls, the fix was obvious.
What is not changing at Metro Window & Door
Metro Window & Door is the same company under the same ownership. Russ Fallon and his family still run it. Our office and shop are still at 3700 Mattingly Road in Buckner, and the number is still 502-222-7828.
The rest holds as well. We still carry Windsor, MGM Industries, and Masonite. We still fabricate custom and non-standard sizes in house for historic homes and odd rough openings. We still do full-frame replacement at pricing close to what other companies charge for pocket-fit work. Our service department still handles warranty claims, repairs, and accidental damage. Consultations are still free, and financing is still available.
What you will see change
Over the next few weeks the new name and logo will show up on the trucks, the sign on Mattingly Road, invoices, business cards, and the flyers we mail out. Some material will carry the old name for a while, which is normal during a change like this. Both names point to the same company, the same crews, and the same phone number. If something arrives with “Metro Window Co.” on it, it is still us.

Our website now lives at MetroWindowDoor.com. If you have metrowindowco.com bookmarked, it will take you to the matching page on the new address. Old links from search results, directories, and past emails will keep working, because we are keeping the original domain registered and pointed here.
If you hit a link that does not land where it should, call the office and we will get it corrected.
Warranties, service calls, and orders in progress
Anything you bought from us under the old name stays covered. Manufacturer warranties follow the product and the installation, not the letterhead, so there is nothing for you to re-file or update. Quotes, signed contracts, and orders already in the system carry over exactly as written.
